July/August 2022.  Austral winter has landed on Reunion Island. It's high time to put on a pullover and some pants. There's also a desire to stuff oneself with a good 'sauerkraut', escorted by a jug of 'Berliner Weisse'. As a musical background, we will choose an exclusively German selection : cold-wave from Potsdam, Deutsch-punk from Berlin, garage-punk from Halle, garage/synth-punk from Leipzig, electro-clash/synth-punk from Hoyerswerda. Yeah, we heard it's moving pretty damn well over there ! Juillet/ Août 2022. L'hiver austral s'est installé à la Réunion. On enfile la petite laine et le pantalon. Il traîne ici comme une envie de se goinfrer une choucroute copieuse, accompagnée de sa chope de Berliner Weisse. En guise de fond musical, on privilégiera une sélection exclusivement allemande : de la cold-wave de Potsdam, du Deutsch-punk de Berlin, du garage-punk de Halle, du garage/synth-punk de Leipzig, de l'électro-clash/synth-punk de Hoyerswerd...

Wooow ! May was such a delightful month ! The springtime temperatures, particularly mild and without any comparisons with the summer heat waves... The cures of asparagus and strawberries in the Loire Valley, or the sweet idleness on the beach of La Grande-Motte, at the bottom of the buildings with a delightful fin-60's design... It was clearly the ideal period for the annual tour of friends and family on the French mainland... Ok, I need to stop right now with those touristic souvenirs. Above all, for the subject that concerns us here, this month of May 2022 was really promising in terms of concerts. After the period of severe dearth that we had just all gone through, the whole rock'n'roll scene - bands, organizers, bars - was boiling, and ready to renew with the Great Adventure. This first concert of a beautiful series led me one weekday evening to a banal and deserted industrial area, near Saint-Jean-de-Védas, between Montpellier and Béziers. About thirty cars were parked...
