REVEREND BEAT-MAN + BOB LOG III  01/03/2020 - Maloya Boat - Saint Paul's Bay, La Réunion A first bacteriological attack to squash Western standards and economies  ? The primitive hostility of the microscopic worlds, as an answer to the human pressure on nature? A banal human mistake in a secured laboratory ? Or, more basically, an unhappy confluence of natural events ? That amazing cocktail of paranoid feelings, junk eco explanation and Cartesian reaction followed the initial trauma and the morbide jubilation - I obviously knew such things would happen some days. It wasn’t an easy thing to give a sense to all that shit, indeed, as nonsense had been everywhere in this world for centuries. Darwinism adaptation and introduction of new routines in our daily lives seemed to be, so far, the only response to the absurdity of the situation.  Let’s come back to a far more interesting subject, a topic also talking about absurdity, but in such a good way...

BRACCO + KILKIL - 07/03/2020 - Le Zinc, Saint Leu, La Réunion. I hate  pubs’ vultures  ! You know, those sticking-together dominating males, mostly in their fading fifties, who disgustingly behave like they are the king of the night and, despite their stinky smell of cigarettes and alcohol, seem to have no doubt about their irresistible attraction on girls, and so, litteraly jump on the few preys who dare to come in «their» pub. My antipathy for those guys must be really perceptible as they somehow always turn on me with some unpleasant remarks, which I've ever tried not to answer to, since that night I ended in a hospital. A little touch of misanthropy to introduce that bar,  Le Nez Rouge  (former name of  le Zinc ) in Saint Leu, which used to be a nest for such birds and was definitely not a place for me… Things seem to have changed at last, wit h the arrival of a new rock’n’roll-friendly bar-tender and his young team : a nice choice of good ...
